In this section we examine the options that allow the user to determine the types of projects, the practices and the clients under which documents are filed in QDocs
Clients (Add – Edit – Delete)
Under the “Tools” option in the Main Menu bar select the option “Clients”. This brings up the “Clients” list in a tabular format where the user can add a new client, delete or edit the details of an existing one
Projects (Add – Edit – Delete)
Under the “Tools” option in the main menu bar select the option “Projects”. This brings up the “Projects” list in a tabular format where the user can add a new project, delete or edit the details of an existing one
The “Practices” are essentially the folders under which documents are filed under in QDocs. To add, edit or delete a practice click on the “Tools” option of the main menu and select the option “Practices”. This will bring up the “Practices” form
The user can select any of the existing practices by using the direction keys at the bottom of the form. To delete or edit a practice use the corresponding keys on the form. To add a new practice, click on the “Add” button and type in the “Practice” field the name of the new practice. Continue by clicking on the button to the right of the “Practice Path” field
